WWWE Logo Message Traffic

Message traffic indicates the amount of information that regularly circulates on a mailing list or newsgroup. A few messages a day indicates light traffic; a hundred or more messages a day indicates heavy traffic. Potential subscribers to mailing lists are well advised to check the message traffic beforehand to avoid being deluged with unwanted messages.
